Global Accessibility – What we can do (In Person)

A short presentation to staff on improving accessibility in their day-to-day working lives – including considering the reduction of jargon, understanding the literacy level of over 40% of Australian adults, Human Rights and The Disability Discrimination Act. The presentation will be engaging with insightful short videos and a ‘7 steps to accessibility success’

Want to know what role user research has with digital accessibility? Join the r/accessibility Reddit on Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) from 19 May at 12 noon BST to ask Anika Henke who is an Accessibility Specialist working for the UK government. Anika will be open to answering AMA questions for 24hrs to allow for people around the world to engage.

GAAD 2022: Considering Digital Accessibility for People with Cognitive Disabilities (Virtual)
