Faculty Conversations: Exploring Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) go hand in hand. Being proactive in creating spaces where people with disabilities feel welcome and part of the community, and not an afterthought, is important for them to reach their full potential. The purpose of this presentation is to show a way of structuring and creating assignments for disabled learners where the barriers to learning and presenting their knowledge are eliminated as much as possible through using UDL.
