Unsere GAAD-Sessions finden am Mittwoch, 17. Mai 2023 von 12:30 Uhr bis 15:00 Uhr als Webex-Webinare in deutscher Sprache statt und werden in Deutsche Gebärdensprache übersetzt. Jede Session ist 45 Minuten lang und bietet ausreichend Zeit für Fragen. Session 1 – Barrierefreie Websites: Selbsttests für Entwicklungsteams 17.05.2023 12:30-13:15 Uhr In dieser Session zeigt Melanie Hobusch wie Barrierefreiheit bereits bei der Entwicklung berücksichtigt und getestet werden kann. Melanie stellt euch dafür praktische Tools vor, und wie euch diese dabei unterstützen, eure Websites barrierefrei umzusetzen und zu testen. Session 2 – Barrierefreie Dokumente: Office-Dokumente inklusiv gestalten 17.05.2023 13:15-14:00 Uhr Barrierefreie Dokumente sind ein wichtiger Baustein in der Kommunikation für Alle. In dieser Session gibt euch Josephine Schwebler einen kurzen Überblick und praktische Tipps, wie ihr barrierefreie und inklusive Office-Dokumente erstellen und prüfen könnt. Ihr lernt welche Office-Funktionen euch dabei helfen, und wie ihr diese am besten einsetzt. Session 3 – Barrierefreiheit auf Mobilgeräten kennenlernen und testen 17.05.2023 14:15-15:00 Uhr Smartphones sind ständig in unsere Hand. Für viele Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen sind diese Mobilgeräte ein wichtiges Hilfsmittel im Alltag. Wie digitale Barrierefreiheit auf Mobilgeräten funktioniert und wie Screenreader wie TalkBack bzw. VoiceOver funktionieren, zeigt Judit Kienz in dieser Session.

Accessibility testing for data dashboards interactive content

If you’re interested in data, statistics or analysis then you may have come across a data dashboard or some other sort of interactive analytical content online. In the UK Government Analysis Function we support analytical teams across government to make their content more accessible. So, as part of Analysis in Government Month we are running a session where an accessibility tester will assess a few different types of data dashboards and other interactive content. We will discuss issues and possible improvements that could be made. Tickets are still available on Eventbrite, but they are selling out fast!

Apple and Accessibility: how to improve the EU DigiComp 2.2 standard?

iPad and Apple technologies enable us to create an accessible learning environment by giving a concrete response to what the European Union requires in the DigiComp 2.2 skills framework. In this webinar, we will look together at how to use Apple technologies within the first DigiComp standard reference point.
