The #A11YJAM game jam May 9 – 15
The #A11YJAM game jam is designed to raise awareness of the accessibility barriers encountered by people with disabilities when playing games and encourage developers to design their games with these potential barriers in mind. Participating developers are asked to adapt and improve a game they have made for a previous game jam to overcome an accessibility barrier and make it playable to people who would otherwise have been excluded. If you’re not sure how your game can be improved the #A11YJAM website has a list of suggestions on possible accessibility features to add.
