Apple and iStores in South Africa celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day on 16 May 2024 by hosting an online Apple Accessibility session for iStore employee’s. Apple is a leader in technological accessibility. Training iStore staff on the immense value of an Apple device for a disabled individuals is a vital component in the stores inclusion and value of Apple products. In this session, employee’s will be introduced to one of Apple’s key values: accessibility. The session will include why accessibility is important, learn key guidelines to engage with customers with disabilities and discover some key accessibility features, demos and resources. In addition to further training of store staff, iStores offer individual accessibility sessions to assist disabled individuals in setting up their accessible device.
