Join the DEIA Council at Shepherd Center for the third annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day Resource Fair on May 13th, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Shepherd Center’s 7th floor Auditorium, Marcus Building 2020 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 Accessibility removes barriers and unlocks the possible.
At GAAD, you will:
- Learn from local advocacy groups about their accessibility work.
- Be informed about how accessibility is incorporated at Shepherd Center.
- Get motivated by our three fantastic speakers who will share their messages about accessibility and advocacy.
We will have a variety of booths at the fair, including:
- Outside Organizations: disABILITY LINK, Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation, MARTA Mobility, Center for Puppetry Arts, and more.
- Shepherd Highlights: Accessibility User Research Collective, Assistive Technology Department, Recreation Therapy, and more.
- Calls to Action: Identify Accessibility Barriers and Get Involved with DEIA.
