Disability inclusion consultant Margaux Joffe will present on Neurodiversity in the workplace. Marguax is an award-winning producer, certified accessibility professional, and the founder of the Kaleidoscope Society for Women with ADHD. In 2017 she helped Yahoo launch the technology industry’s first Neurodiversity Employee Resource Group (ERG) to create a more inclusive workplace for minds of all kinds. She currently facilitates a professional development program for adults with ADHD.

In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) 2022, Accessibility Shared Service Team at Pearson Lanka has planned several activities starting from 17th May to 20th of May 2022. The main highlight of the week is ‘A11Y Quiz’, a Virtual accessibility fun quizzical via the Kahoot platform targeted for Pearson Lanka employees. Throughout the whole week, Accessibility informative tips will be shared via emails and blog posts.

D-Camps Build Event (Private/Internal)

20 May 2022 – 23 May 2022 | 8:00 AM-12:00 PM America/Vancouver (Water Valley, Alberta, Canada)

Makers Making Change is hosting an assistive technology workshop in partnership D-Camp’s Jean Nelson Family Camp, on May 20-23 2022. Full build kits, tools and step by step instructions will be supplied to participating campers. This is a private event for attendees of the Jean Nelson Family Camp (but the camp is still open for registration). Makers Making Change is pleased to have you join us to provide assistive devices to people with disabilities in your community!
