Pave the Way to GAAD (In Person)

Info exhibits on accessibility and universal design solutions being used at North Idaho College (NIC). 2022 marks our third year of hosting Pave the Way to Global Accessibility Awareness Day (PWGAAD) on April 20, 2022 from 10AM-1PM. This is a FREE event that will take place in the Lake Coeur d’Alene room on the second floor of the Edminster Student Union Building at 495 N College Dr, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.

Jarní Agora 2022 (In Person)

Agora je dvoudenní konference, zaměřená na tématiku využití informačních a komunikačních technologií uživateli se zrakovým postižením. Její 15. běh nabídne zájemcům 8 příspěvků v plenární sekci, výstavu se stánky 9 vystavovatelů, herní zónu a 25 workshopů. Těšit se můžete na hmatovou grafiku, 3D tisk, hry, lupy, mobilní i desktopové aplikace a další technologie pro zrakově postižené uživatele.

At ASU we are celebrating Global Accessibility Awareness Day throughout the week of May 16-20 with a series of short online challenges to increase your accessibility awareness. Conquer one activity a day throughout the week, or challenge yourself to become an Accessibility Champion all at once. Earn a digital credential in accessibility awareness!

Inclusive Accessibility Testing Workshops – IncluCity Calgary Launch (In Person)

Division of Academic Innovation Accessibility Awareness Event (In Person)

The Division of Academic Innovation is hosting an event showcasing simulations of various disabilities to make aware the importance of digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities. Activities will include using low vision simulation goggles, dyslexia typing simulation, demonstration of orientation and mobility practices, demonstration of assistive technology, and demonstration of iOS and Android accessibility apps for smart devices. We are participating in Fix Your Content Day.
