Join 3Play Media in celebrating Global Accessibility Awareness Day (#GAAD) with a discussion featuring actor Mickey Rowe and disability advocate Michael Agyin. They’ll discuss how their personal backgrounds inform their advocacy work and the utmost importance of accessibility – the talk is live at 11 AM EST, and you can register to receive a recorded copy of the event at a later time.
There is an overwhelming lack of disability representation and diversification in tech leadership, and we’re looking forward to having the panel shed light on this and a few other important issues at hand. We’ll be joined by tech leaders across several companies VMWare, Spotify, LinkedIn, and Fable who will share their personal experiences and perspectives in dealing with disabilities in the workplace, and advice for those looking to pursue leadership roles within their organizations.

Superblindman worked on TLOU2 for 3 years, and is responsible for ensuring the game is playable for the totally blind all over the world. Superblindman, also totally blind, will be showcasing the game’s incredible suite of blind accessibility features as he plays, including specific discussion and Q&A. Umbraco A11Y team presents the first ever Umbraco accessibility awareness day – as part of the Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) The half-day event is open to all involved in designing, building and creating websites and attendees do not have to have worked exclusively with Umbraco. It’s also open to anyone with an interest in accessibility and the web, from users to marketers to those who commission websites.
