The 2022 ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium takes place in person/online May 17 and 18. As part of GAAD on May 19, we will be replaying NFB President Mark Riccobono’s Keynote “Experiences as a Test Driver: The Blind Driver Challenge and its impact on technology, accessibility, and new possibilities for independence”. We then host a recap discussion of this year’s conference sessions addressing accessibility testing and Autonomous Vehicles, and plans for R&D in this area in the future.

Universal Design for Learning – Creating a flexible inclusive learning experience for all. This session will give an outline of Universal Design and provide practical advice on how to implement those principles in education. While Universal Design does not offer a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution, it does present a model that aims to provide an educational experience that has considered the different educational backgrounds, learning preferences and abilities of a diverse learner population.
