This year’s observance will be highlighted by a lunchtime disability and technology exhibit hosted by our Accessibility Compliance Team. The event will take place Thursday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the LPN Café Corridor. Leaders who participate and sign in at the exhibit area will earn Continuing Education Credit. The exhibit will showcase the important work being performed at CalPERS to ensure people of all abilities are accommodated and have access to our technologies and resources. This includes inclusive services available to team members. The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy team will be on hand to promote the value of CalHR’s disability survey and provide team members the opportunity to complete this anonymous, online questionnaire. The Department of Rehabilitation will also be exhibiting and providing disability-related information resources.
