AutomaticA11y – dostępność i sztuczna inteligencja

Until recently, only a human person could take care about accessibility. Now, as far as the sofisticated tools, such as Artificial Intelligence, are dynamically being developed, the possibility of a broader and faster accessibility provision is much more realistic. Nevertheless, a human person is still indispensable to control these tools and processes. During the conference, we will take a walk-through of the different prospects and opportunities, which gives us modern technology in the field of accessibility.

ChargePoint GAAD

ChargePoint’s first GAAD event. We have a hackathon going on in the EU timezone focused on A11Y QA of our new admin portal. In ChargePoint HQ in Campbell, we will host a get-to-know-accessibility presentation, showing some common situations where ChargePoint hardware and software crosses paths with disabled users trying to use it. We have EV charging stations and software behind them. We will show some YouTube videos demonstrating how wheelchair users get in and out of cars, and their experience with charging stations. We’ll show how blind people use an ATM as an introduction to problems ChargePoint needs to solve for our own visually impaired users. We will show-case some of the ongoing work in ChargePoint to address these issues.
