Through the absence of light, this format cancels any distinction between those who read with their eyes, those with their hands, and those with their ears. Well known authors and blind or print impaired readers alternately read the same book, revealing the different ways of using it. Marco Peano, writer and editor, will take part in the event and excerpts from his book “Morsi“ will be read. The initiative is organized in the framework of Aldus UP, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme.

Makers Making Change is hosting a build event with students at Balgonie Elementary School, on May 20 2022 @ 12:00pm-2.00pm (MST). The young makers will learn about assistive technology and digital access. For a hands-on activity, students will build Interact Switches, a device that helps people with motor challenge access electronics.
