May 21 is Global Accessibility Awareness Day, so we caught up with Jacob Holden of UK-based charity SpecialEffect to discuss the ways games can improve the lives of the billion-plus people worldwide with disabilities.
For over 16 years, AST has been working with education, government, and other types of organizations to help get us closer to the ultimate goal of digital accessibility—to ensure that content is easily available and accessible to all people, including people with disabilities (PwD). To celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), the Workday Accessibility team will be hosting a digital speaker series focused on inclusive experiences. We’re also hosting an screen reader scavenger hunt.
The white paper will be available free of charge from Web Key IT Pty Ltd from May 21st. The white paper is the result of research conducted last year with both organisations and individuals in Australia and internationally.
