Thursday, May 21, the Accessibility Center of Excellence and United Healthcare Digital invite you to participate in 2020 Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). Hear from accessibility experts and discover how you can contribute to designing and building products and experiences that work for our users and help make the health system work better for everyone.
At Centre for Inclusive Design digital accessibility is in our DNA. So, this GAAD we are launching ‘The Inspiration Series’.
We have curated a list of resources that we find inspiring. Things to assist in furthering the conversations on accessibility for the uninitiated and those who live and breathe accessibility. We hope these resources help you help others to think, talk and learn more about digital inclusion.
How to take part in this event? Just do not use the mouse or touchpad for the selected hour during this day. These are devices that cannot be used by many people with disabilities – including blind people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse. Correctly built websites allow them to navigate freely using only tablature, arrows and keyboard shortcuts.
Dieses Jahr geht die Artikelserie des AK Barrierefreiheit der German UPA zum Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) bereits in die dritte Runde.
